(also known as “Policorner”, “Policorner.com”, and “Policorner.org”, all hereinafter referred to as “Policorner”, “We”, and “Our”) collects from users and visitors of Policorner.com, Policorner.org and related services. 3. What legal basis do we rely on to process your Personal Information?

When you receive our promotional material, when you use our website and services, and when you link your Policorner account to your Social Network account, you consent that your Personal Information will be processed by us and we rely on this consent. You have the right to withdraw consent at any time by emailing us at legal@Policorner.org with the subject titled “Consent Withdrawal” and a clear statement indicating your request to withdraw consent. We will stop processing data after consent is withdrawn, where consent is the only legal basis for processing.

When you fulfill a contract

We will also process your Personal Information when we need to fulfill a contract with you.

We also processes your data when it is in our legitimate interests to do this and when these interests are not overridden by your data protection rights.

5. Accessing and deleting your Personal Information

When you create an account and log-in to your 'My Account' area, it is protected by your password and may only be accessed by you. You can manage the content and information in your Account at any time, by logging in to your “My Account” area. You are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share this password with anyone.

Please note that Policorner reserves the right to remove from our database, information which includes any content that we consider to be illegal, offensive, or against community standards. We reserve the right to delete and/or restrict your account at any time for any reason without prior notice. We will respect the choices you make to limit sharing or visibility settings in your “My Account”.

You can deactivate or delete your account at any time or choose to not make your profile searchable. These options are available on your user dashboard, or you email legal@Policorner.org with the subject line “Delete My Account” and a request to delete your account using the email associated with your account and your full name. Upon receipt of this email, you agree to allow Policorner up to thirty days to delete your account. Policorner.org reserves the right to maintain your personal information until you either delete your account through the provided mechanisms on your user dashboard or until you request, in writing, deletion of your account through the aforementioned email method.

6. Who do we share your Personal Information with?

We do not share personal information with companies, organizations and individuals outside of Policorner unless one of the following requirements is met:

  • With your consent - We will share personal information with companies, organizations or individuals outside of Policorner only if we have your consent to do so, which is supplied in this agreement and by your use of Policorner.org
  • For external processing – We will provide personal information to our sub-processors and contractors based on our instructions and in compliance with our Privacy Policy and any other appropriate security measures. This also includes supplying information to Hosting providers, credit card companies, analytic platforms, email service providers, employers, recruiting agencies, and related services. This list if not exhaustive and Policorner.org is not required to provide users with an exhaustive list of external services with which is shares data.
  • For legal reasons - We will share personal information with companies, organizations or individuals outside of Policorner if we have a good faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of the information is reasonably necessary

7. Storage of Information

All Personal Information which you supply to us is generally stored and kept on our servers. However, due to the nature of our business and the technologies required, your Personal Information may be transferred to our approved third party service providers, subcontractors and partners as needed. In such situations, we have put in place technical and security measures to prevent the loss or unauthorized access of your personal information including transfer the minimum amount of data necessary, anonymize it where possible and enter legal contracts to aim to ensure these third parties handle your Personal Information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. However, whilst we have used our best efforts to ensure the security of your information, please be aware that we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted over the Internet.

We retain your information as long as your account is active or as needed to provide your services or we have an ongoing legitimate business need to do so. Policorner’s site is not directed to, nor we do knowingly collect information from, children under the age of eighteen (18).

We are not responsible for the data and privacy practices of the employers, job applicants, or freelancers on our site. Some job listings will feature links to external website links and applications, which feature their own data and privacy policy terms and conditions. We are not responsible for any data collection, privacy violations, or any related issues concerning your activities on and access to these sites. You access these links and sites at your own risk. You are encouraged to evaluate the privacy policies of these other sites before accessing them and providing your user data. Policorner bears no responsibility for your activities on these sites or the activities of employers once you use their sites or services.
